I am a product designer driven by a deep understanding and empathy for users. My mission is to prioritize their needs, desires, and frustrations in every design decision I make. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for user-centered design, my goal is to create intuitive and seamless experiences that exceed expectations. I achieve this by conducting extensive user research, gathering insights, and iteratively testing my designs. This ensures that the end product aligns perfectly with user preferences. I graduated from Champlain College in Vermont in 2004 with an Associated Degree in Multi-Media and Graphic Design. I started my career by doing web and graphic design work for local companies. To broaden my design experience, I began freelancing at night and eventually transitioned to full-time freelancing in 2006. Throughout my freelancing journey, I worked with numerous companies, which allowed me to not only focus on design but also learn front and back end development to build the websites I was working on. This experience has enabled me to effectively collaborate with developers to this day.

My first exposure to true product design came when I had the opportunity to work with Atlassian. It was a fantastic experience where I took an acquired product and integrated it into Atlassian's established style. During the first year, I was the sole designer on the team, successfully accomplishing this goal. Eventually, the product I worked on was acquired by Slack.

I thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining a calm demeanor and the ability to process what is needed to achieve the end goal.
